Not much going on right now. I am thinkiing about taking a shower.. and then mozing down to the park for the 4th parade. It rained buckets here... all day. It did quit a little just after dark.
The neighboring town had it's fireworks last night... We will have ours tonight.
I think the best fireworks that I have seen were the time I was on a small sternwheeler mock up... out in the middle of the Ohio River. A friend of mine and I took a boatride that day... on the "Spirit of Charleston"... a party boat made to look like a steamboat/sternwheeler. The bombs bursted in air just over head. It was very pretty and somewhat fun to be in the middle of the fireworks.
I got word today that my brother and his children will be visiting this weekend.
It is hard to believe that Kaleigh will be a senior in high school. and Chase a sophmore. That is the picture...my dad with Kaleigh and Chase...
Hope everyone had a nice Fourth. I think that I am off with cameras in hand.. to watch the parade.
